Great, I like it very much. By catching the reflection of the fish from the advertisement on the water you've actually managed to put the fish in the water. Lovely idea as always, mirrors really should think longer :)
glad you like the image :) the fish is free again, in the river :D the mirror did a good thing, without knowing (or thinking) :D i like the idea of mirrors with thoughts and ideas, mirrors as personas.
I am looking forward for your "quoted image, imaged quotes" with the theme of "love"~ It is a wonderful feeling... I am curious how you manifest the topic! ~cheers~
Hi Lily! Thanks!! :) we don't have a plan of themes so far but it certainly is a good idea :) Love is quite difficult to express through words and images, maybe because it's such a strong concept/feeling.
Thanks Cécile. I was amazed when Luisa posted her photo answer, how she visually "unpacked" the quote in a both beautiful and intelligent way. This sure is one of my favorite posts on this blog!
Thinker and Luisa are back, one year later, with the blog Quoted Images, Imaged Quotes. Very much look forward to seeing you around and reading your comments and suggestions. Thinker and Luisa, November 2010

Jean Cocteau liked mirrors. You should check out "Orphée", his movie from 1950. It's one of my favorites, a true surrealist masterpiece.
Gosh, I want to see that movie for ages now... Will see if I find it here, they have a 'videotheque' here. Thanks for making me think of it!!

Hi Lily, thanks for the idea!
Brilliant quote, and brilliant association quote/image...
Thanks Cécile.
