We all indulge in the strange, pleasant process called thinking, but when it comes to saying, even to someone opposite, what we think, then how little we are able to convey! The phantom is through the mind and out of the window before we can lay salt on its tail, or slowly sinking and returning to the profound darkness which it has lit up momentarily with a wandering light.

wow... I was reading and wondering whose words were these... the written and the spoken word differ so much from the thought word and for so many different reasons, both interior and external to ourselves as what the 'other' is thinking and we can't really control it, either way. this quote is so right... of course it was said by Virginia Wolf! She was one of the best writers ever, a deep soul and a great mind. beautifully sharp thought.
Happy you like it Luisa!
The photo is amazing, it has a strange and beautiful mood, just like the quote.
