A purely magical object.
I think that cars today are almost the exact equivalent of the great Gothic cathedrals: I mean the supreme creation of an era, conceived with passion by unknown artists, and consumed in image if not in usage by a whole population which appropriates them as a purely magical object.

Great photo and a beautiful match, you've captured the essence of the quote by putting a man and his beloved car in relation:) It really is an interesting modern phenomenon, a connection that gets developed between a man and his car.
thanks Thinker :) yes, very true, man and his car have a strong relationship since the modern era. personally, i am not such a huge fan of cars... i mean... i understand we need them to go around. but i am a lousy driver and i don't know a thing about cars...
