people I've looked at

I wonder how many people I've looked at all my life and never seen.

Hi Luisa and Thinker
That is a question I ask myself almost everyday - can I actually see people? Sometimes it can be so hard to take time and observe instead of judging.

Beautiful picture Luisa, it is a great match.

thanks Cécile, very happy to hear you like it :) it's a wonderful quote...

I totally agree w you. we are all (well, mostly) very 'good' judges but poor observers which is a shame. and quite intriguing as well, i mean, how can we judge without observing carefully? I'm not sure if there is such thing as a fair judgement to be honest.

I don't know if there is such thing as a fair judgment either. But sometimes, when I'm happy and peaceful (that happens once in a while, though not as much as I'd like :)) I feel I can "see" things in a clerer way; that is, not so fast, not so hard, with newer eyes. At other times, when I'm angry or tired, I can be so harsh! And I know I'm being harsh, and that's what makes it even more difficult...

Great discussion, i totally agree with you that we are often superficial in observering, like we are superficial in our valuations..
I guess we have to open our eyes and our hearts more, and we will see clearer in a way.
Great match Luisa!
