My professor used to say that if we could make a perfect copy of reality, it would not be art. And i believe it is true, art actually is based on unique imperfections of the artist, on artist's intimate and beautiful errors in perceiving..

yes, that's very true. it's about adding your impressions, fingerprints, in a way.

Fingerprints are a beautiful metaphor. It is amazing how we actually enrich reality with our personal imperfections.
